The Company
Middle Management started with desk name plates: honest job titles, engraved properly, for the people actually running things. The jokes did not stay on a two by eight inch plate for long.
So the catalog grew. Shirts, hats, stickers, patches, signs, drinkware and whatever the next idea needs to be printed on. The tone stayed the same: dry, specific, and a little too accurate.
We are a small shop in Hopewell Junction, New York, about sixty miles north of Manhattan. Everything is sold through Amazon, Etsy and TikTok Shop, and every product page here links to its listings.
Name plates are still engraved to order on two-ply stock, in walnut, navy or black. That part is not a joke.
Questions we get
- Where do I buy something?
- On Amazon, Etsy or TikTok Shop. Every product page here links to its listings, and checkout happens there.
- Why is it called Middle Management?
- The joke started at the office, with job titles nobody would print on a business card. The catalog has since left the office. The name stayed, mostly out of spite.
- How do I know what size a shirt runs?
- Every apparel page has a size chart with the garment's actual measurements, laid flat. Measure a shirt you already like and compare.
- Can I get my own wording?
- On a name plate, yes, through our sister shop Name Tag Depot, which does personalized plates, badges and door signs.
- Do you do bulk orders?
- Yes, for offices, teams and events. Email us and we'll quote it.
- Will the letters on a name plate wear off?
- No. The white is a second layer of material underneath the surface, revealed by the laser. There is no ink involved.
- Is the walnut real wood?
- No. It is a textured walnut-finish engraving laminate. It looks and feels like a finished wood plate and it will not warp, chip or split.
