Returns and Warranty
Short version: if we got it wrong, we fix it. If the engraving fails, we fix it. Made-to-order items cannot be restocked, so change-of-mind returns are the one thing we cannot take back.
If it arrives damaged or defective, we replace it free. Contact us within thirty days of delivery with a photograph. No return shipping required on a defect; we do not need the damaged plate back.
If we engraved it wrong, we replace it free. That means the wrong text, the wrong finish, or the wrong size against what your order said. Same thirty day window, same process.
Change of mind is the exception. Every plate is engraved to order with specific text, so it cannot be resold or restocked. We cannot accept returns for change of mind, and neither can most made-to-order sellers. Please read your text carefully before ordering.
The lettering is warranted for the life of the plate. The letters are engraved through the surface to a second layer of material underneath, so there is no ink or film that can scratch, peel or fade. If the lettering ever degrades under normal indoor desk use, that is a defect and we will replace it.
What is not covered: physical damage after delivery, outdoor exposure, solvents and abrasive cleaners, and normal marking of the aluminum holder.
How to claim. Email hello@middlemanagement.co with your order number and a photograph. If you ordered through Amazon, Etsy or TikTok Shop, you can also open a claim in that marketplace and we will handle it there.
